1. Acceptance of Terms
By participating in any auction or making a purchase through Lake Effect Liquidation, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, along with any additional guidelines, rules, or instructions that may be provided during the auction process. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from participating in any auction or making any purchase through our platform.
2. Registration
To participate in any auction, all bidders are required to register for an account with Lake Effect Liquidation. By registering, you affirm that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and up to date. It is your responsibility to keep your registration details current. Lake Effect Liquidation reserves the right to deny or revoke any registration at its sole discretion, including but not limited to cases of fraudulent or incomplete registration.
3. Bidding Process
All bids placed during our auctions are final and binding. Once a bid is submitted, it cannot be canceled or retracted under any circumstances. Bidders are responsible for reviewing the auction item descriptions, photos, and terms before placing a bid to ensure they fully understand the item being offered.
Lake Effect Liquidation reserves the right to reject, remove, or cancel any bid or bidder at its discretion, including but not limited to instances of non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions, fraudulent activity, or any other actions that may disrupt the integrity of the auction process.
4. Payment Terms
Upon winning an auction, the winning bidder is automatically charged the final price including sales tax aand credit card fees at the auction's close. Accepted payment methods include [Credit Card, Debit Card or Cash]. Failure to make timely payment will result in Lake Effect Liquidation suspending the bidder’s account. In cases of non-payment, the item will be considered forfeited and may be resold without any refund or compensation to the buyer.
5. Item Descriptions and Condition
All items listed for auction are sold on an “as-is, where-is” basis with no warranties or guarantees of any kind, either express or implied. We make every effort to provide accurate descriptions and clear photos of the items being auctioned; however, Lake Effect Liquidation does not guarantee the functionality, completeness, or cosmetic condition of any item.
Bidders are encouraged to carefully inspect all items during the designated preview period. If an inspection period is not offered, it is the bidder's responsibility to fully understand the condition of the items before placing any bids.
6. Pickup and Shipping
Winning bidders are responsible for picking up their items within 3 days of the end of the auction. Failure to pick up items within the specified time will result in the forfeiture of the items, and they will be resold without any refunds provided.
For buyers who require shipping, Lake Effect Liquidation offers shipping services at the buyer's expense through a designated Shipping Carrier. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and will be calculated after the auction closes. Items that require shipping will be processed only after full payment is received.
Large or bulky items may be available for pickup only. Please refer to the individual auction details for any shipping restrictions or availability.
7. Returns and Refunds
All sales are final. Lake Effect Liquidation does not accept returns or issue refunds for any reason, including buyer’s remorse or dissatisfaction with the condition of the items. In the unlikely event that an item is grossly misrepresented, buyers should immediately notify us within 48 hours of receiving the item.

8. Chargebacks
Chargebacks will be disputed to the fullest extent permitted by law. By participating in our auctions, you waive the right to initiate a chargeback for any reason, including but not limited to dissatisfaction with item condition, shipping delays, or buyer's remorse. If a chargeback is initiated, Lake Effect Liquidation reserves the right to pursue legal action to recover any funds owed.
9. Changes to Terms
Lake Effect Liquidation reserves the right to amend or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, with or without notice, in order to reflect changes in our business practices, legal requirements, or other factors. All changes will be effective immediately upon being posted on our website or communicated via email to registered bidders. Continued participation in our auctions constitutes acceptance of any changes or updates to these terms.
