At Lake Effect Liquidation, we are committed to providing an excellent shopping experience and high-quality liquidation goods. However, due to the nature of our business, all sales are final. This policy outlines our approach to returns and refunds, ensuring clarity and transparency in our processes.

1. Final Sale – No Returns or Exchanges

All items sold through Lake Effect Liquidation auctions are sold as-is and final sale. We do not accept returns or exchanges for any items purchased. This includes, but is not limited to, customer returns, refurbished items, and liquidation inventory. By bidding on and purchasing an item, you agree to this policy.

2. Item Condition

We strive to provide accurate descriptions and high-quality photos for every item listed in our auctions. However, it is important to note that the condition of each item can vary, and we list all items as-is, where-is. The condition of each item is clearly stated in the description, and we encourage all bidders to thoroughly review the photos, item details, and conditions before placing a bid.

If an item is significantly misrepresented (e.g., incorrect photos, description errors), Lake Effect Liquidation will work with the buyer to resolve the issue. Please contact us immediately if you believe there has been a misrepresentation of an item.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

In the rare event that an item is damaged during transit or upon receipt, or if it is found to be defective when described as working, please contact our customer support team within 48 hours of receiving your item. We will review the issue and, if applicable, offer a solution. Please keep the original packaging and all components in case we need to inspect the damage or issue a replacement.

Note: Claims for damaged or defective items must be submitted within 48 hours of receiving the product. After this time frame, we cannot accept claims for damages.

4. Shipping and Delivery Issues

While we make every effort to ensure timely and safe delivery, we are not responsible for shipping delays, lost packages, or damages caused by third-party carriers (e.g., USPS, FedEx, etc.). Once an item has been shipped, it is the responsibility of the carrier to ensure delivery.

In the case of missing or delayed shipments, you must contact the carrier directly to address the issue. Lake Effect Liquidation will assist in providing tracking information if necessary, but is not liable for carrier-related delays or losses.

5. Refunds

As noted, Lake Effect Liquidation does not provide refunds for items, except in situations where the item is significantly misrepresented. If a refund is issued in exceptional cases, it will be issued to the original payment method. Refunds will not be granted for buyer’s remorse, incorrect item selection, or failure to pick up the item within the required timeframe.

Note: We do not refund shipping costs or buyer's fees (such as auction fees, buyer’s premiums, etc.).

6. Item Pickup and Abandoned Items

It is the buyer’s responsibility to pick up their items within three days of the auction end date. Failure to pick up items within the specified period will result in the forfeiture of the items, and they will be resold at the discretion of Lake Effect Liquidation. No refunds will be issued for unclaimed or abandoned items.
